1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
Place roast, fat side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Insert
oven proof meat thermometer in thickest part of roast. Do not
add water or cover.
2. Roast according to chart below.
Remove when meat thermometer registers 135 degrees F for medium
rare, 150 degrees F for medium. Let the roast stand 15 minutes.
(Temperature will continue to rise 10 degrees F to reach desired
doneness and roast will be easier to carve.)

Thumann's Beef Fajitas
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Ready In: 25 Minutes
Makes 6 fajitas
Ingredients:
1 lb of Thumanns
Roast Beef, cut ¼ in. thick at the deli, then cut into
strips
2 yellow onions, cut into half and then strips
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 bell peppers, one red and one green seeded and cut into strips
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and cut into rings
4 Tbs. of extra-virgin olive oil
Salt and ground pepper
1 Tbs. of freshly chopped cilantro
6 flour tortillas, slightly warm
Salsa, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and guacamole (or avocados)
on side for serving.
Directions:
1. Use a large frying
pan, heat up 2 Tbs of olive oil and sauté the onions,
pepper, and jalapeno peppers over medium heat and stir often.
Cook the vegetables until very tender. About 12 - 15 minutes.
2. Add the rest of the olive
oil, minced garlic, cilantro, salt and pepper to taste with Thumanns
Thumanns Roast Beef. Sauté for 5 minutes longer
to blend the flavors. To not burn garlic because it may taste
bitter.
3. When finished, place some
of the meat and veggies on a tortilla with some salsa, sour cream,
guacamole, or avocados on the tortilla. Roll it up and Enjoy! |
Thumann's Grilled
Turkey, Mushroom, and Swiss Cheese Sandwiches
Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 10 Minutes
Ready in: 15 Minutes
Makes 4 sandwiches
Ingredients:
1 lb Thumanns Golden Roasted Turkey Breast
½ lb. Thumanns Swiss cheese
2 cups white mushrooms, cleaned and thinly sliced
4 slices of Italian bread or focaccia Bread
2 Tbs of olive oil
3 Tbs of butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. In a large frying, heat the olive oil and sauté the
mushrooms over medium heat until tender. The mushrooms will soak
up the oil, shrink, and then will make juice. Let the liquid
evaporate, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes. Sprinkle
salt and pepper to taste. Set the mushrooms aside.
2. Butter on side of each slice
of bread. With the butter on the outside, place the Thumanns
Golden Roasted Turkey on the bread About 4 oz. Per sandwich.
Then spread out the sautéed mushrooms evenly over the
meat. Place Thumanns Swiss Cheese on the top of the mushrooms
and grill in a large frying pan until golden brown. Eat and Enjoy! |
Thumann's Honey-Mustard
Sliced Ham Sandwich
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: N/A
Ready In: 10 Minutes
Makes 4 sandwiches
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Thumann's Honey
Mustard
8 slices rye bread
1-1/2 cups cabbage, shredded
8 ounces thinly sliced Thumann's Ham
4 ounces thinly sliced Thumann's Swiss Cheese
1 medium apple, cored and sliced into thin wedges
Directions:
1. Spread one side of
each bread slice with honey mustard.
2. Top half of the bread slices
with cabbage, ham, Swiss cheese, apple slices, and the remaining
bread slice with honey mustard sides down. |
